It is well established that the quality of milk is in direct proportion to hygiene and health standards of the dairy cattle.

CONTROL

In order to verify the perfect health of the cattle, frequent and in-depth health checks are carried out. Particular attention is paid to the diet, which must contain the right ratio of nutrients to provide a balanced mix of energy, proteins, fats, minerals and vitamins. 

If Fattorie Cremona is a synonym for Provolone and Grana Padano, it owes this to a precise choice: dedication to what the coop does best.

EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE

Grana Padano and Provolone are the most typical dairy products of Cremona area and, from generation to generation, the master cheesemakers have been passing on an incomparable heritage of experience and expertise. A heritage that Fattorie Cremona has made its own and jealously guards. Provolone, for example, requires an uncommon manual skill to stretch the curd and give the desired shape, as well as a deep knowledge of milk processing techniques to achieve the special taste of this great cheese. The same applies to Grana Padano, and Fattorie Cremona is one of the leading producers within the Consortium members.

CERTIFIED GOODNESS

The results of strict controls that are systematically carried out become official when the Certification is achieved.

Fattorie Cremona is certified GSFS – Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 8 and IFS International Food Standard Version 6.1 by CSQA.

The considerable investments made in production and the continuous upgrading of the plants have been accomplished and recongnized with some Certificates, made possible by the presence of professionally trained staff with long experience and skills.

OUR PRINCIPLES

The inspiring principles of the cooperative and the strong link between the members have been strengthened over the years and still represent, together with the strict control of the entire production chain, the key factors of Fattorie Cremona.

 The heart of the production is of course milk, which is selected with the utmost care.

HIGH QUALITY

All members ensure a supply of more than 180 million liters of milk per year and operate in a quite small designated area, which also ensures the freshness of the raw material. 

The co-operative also maintains a close relationship of collaboration and consultancy with its members and closely monitors their farms: this guarantees the high quality and consistency of the collected milk, which is also the result of the highly homogeneous fodder used to feed the cattle and the uniformity of the farming systems.
