Savory pie with tomatoes and scamorza cheese

PREPARATION

Take the tomato, remove the stalk, wash it thoroughly and then dry it. Finally cut it into slices of medium thickness. After this, devote yourself to the provolone cheese that will be cut into slices. At this point you just have to prepare the sauce that you are going to use to sprinkle the surface of your pie. In a bowl, add plenty of extra virgin olive oil, finely chopped basil leaves, a clove of garlic cut into pieces, salt and pepper. Mix everything together and set aside.

Line a baking tray with puff pastry. Create a first layer of tomatoes, then add the slices of provolone cheese Fattorie Cremona and make another layer of tomatoes. Once this is done, fold the edges of the pastry inwards and sprinkle the whole surface of the filling with the previously prepared sauce. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 35 minutes. When the pastry starts to brown it is a sign that your pie is ready, so all you have to do is take it out of the oven and serve.
